The remarkable FC8000 series 30", 42", 54" and 60" cutting plotters from Graphtec are the perfect way to increase your productivity and improve your bottom line. It is an investment in your business that will continue to pay dividends well into the future!
The all NEW FC8000 series High-Performance cutting plotter is an industry leader for sign makers, graphic artists, auto-aftermarket professionals, countertop installers and other related users.
The FC8000 has added features such as: 3 inch wide user-friendly LCD control Panel, a Dual configuration function (two-user set and save customized conditions), an optional Ethernet capability (run multiple machines from one location), additional push rollers with 3 tension settings and enhanced ARMS system (automatically detects registration marks with color variants).
The FC8000 series features a maximum cutting speed of 58.5 in/sec, 4.0G maximum acceleration, and 20 to 600g selectable cutting forces, allowing users to process diamond grade, high-intensity reflective film, sandblast resist rubber, automotive window & paint protection films, self-adhesive vinyl, Amberlith™ and Rubylith™, among other media types. With the world's fastest throughput performance and superb accuracy, the new FC8000 series accommodates the most demanding cutting and plotting projects and provides users with the versatility needed for a wide variety of applications.
Features
Media Basket
The media basket is now a standard feature on all new FC8000 series to facilitiate dust-free cutting/plotting operations and enhanced media tracking for long, continous project applications. The collapsible front and rear baskets keep the media off the shop floor to prevent dust and residue from accumulating on the output material. This feature is ideal when unevenness and/or obstacles are observed in the media pass (on the floor) that can potentially affect the plotter's tracking performance.
Automatic registration mark sensor (ARMS)
The Automatic Optical Registration Mark (ARMS) sensor detects the registration marks printed alongside digitally produced images to automatically align preprinted images to the internal coordinate system and even compensate for material expansion/contraction. These intelligent features assure the user of unsurpassed accuracy and consistently reliable operation for the most intricate die/contour cutting applications.
Performance
The FC8000's top cutting speed reaches 58.5 in/sec with the conditional maximum acceleration of 4.0G. This combination of speed and acceleration provides lightning fast production of various designs with superb cutting/plotting quality - a result of our world-renowned electro-mechanical system control algorithms. The speed priority setting enhances the throughput performance for the production of large text signs, long banners and stripes while the acceleration (quality) priority setting provides the unsurpassed productivity for small and intricate design cutting. The overall throughput is further improved by an adoption of intelligent tool height control supported by the Graphtec proprietary, high-precision tool actuator system architecture. The selectable cutting forces ranging from 20 to 600g accommodate a wide spectrum of material including ultra-thin masking films to thick and hard reflective films.
Ease of Use
The user-friendly control panel comes standard with a large 20-digit x 4-line LCD menu/control display and icon-labeled comprehensive controls, providing effortless operation and simple navigation of various setup menus. The oversized LCD allows users to quickly glance at all operational conditions including equipment status, speed, force, quality (acceleration) and type of tool with pre-programmed offset value.
